Bicep Heart Trend

The bicep heart trend is when you flex one arm and curl your other hand against the bicep to make a heart.

You smile at the camera, flex, close the shape with your hand and hold it for a second. Below: where the bicep heart came from, how to do the pose yourself, and how to make a bicep heart video from one photo of you or your pet, even without big arms.

Bicep heart for dogs and cats

Your pet stands up, flexes a front leg and curls the other paw into a heart, with a dead-serious face. Paws are not hands, so the heart is as close as a pet can get, which is the joke.

Why the bicep heart trend is everywhere

It is a one-move joke anyone can film in five seconds: the flexed arm draws one half of the heart, your hand draws the other. Gym regulars post it with big arms, everyone else posts it anyway, and that contrast is the fun.

How to do the bicep heart

You do not need big arms. The heart shape comes mostly from your hand.

  1. 1

    Flex one arm

Make a fist, raise it beside your head and bend the arm so the upper arm points out to the side. Turn it a little toward the camera.

  2. 2

    Curl the other hand

Bring your other hand across your chest. Hook your fingers over the top of the bicep and point your thumb down along the inside of the arm.

  3. 3

    Find the heart and hold

Your curled hand plus the curve of the flexed arm make one heart. Adjust the angle until it reads clearly, hold for a second and smile.
